Take a look at 20" Breyton Spirits on one. If that doesn't do it for you, nothing will!

I don't understand why idrive is even an issue for people who can use a computer. I have said it once and I don't mind saying it again. It's all a matter of getting used to it. It's actually pretty intuitive and if you can read a menu you can navigate idrive. A perfect example is WindowsXP. How do you turn off your computer? You left click start and then click turn off. Does that make sense?
The only people that I see complaining about idrive are people that have used it during a test drive. I figured the system out during my test drive and it was basically a non-issue for me. The 7 series and 6 series are truly great cars. The engines are phenomenol and the handling is superb considering what they are. As far as styling.... I think it will someday be considered revolutionary. The hallmark of a truly good design is that it looks better as time goes by. That is what the 7 and 6 series is all about. I receive nothing but compliments on it. In fact, I get more compliments on my 7 than I do with my cab. I have yet to hear a compliment about the styling of my wife's '05 S500 even with the AMG body kit and AMG wheels. It looks nice but it's not nearly as stunning as my 745Li. Also, compared to the cost of a Mercedes S class or CL class, the 745 is a freaking bargain.
Bottom line.... they are great daily drivers, long distance cruisers, weekend getaway cars... whatever. They are great cars.

I was a fan of the 7, 5, and 6 since they came out. It was a revolution in automotive design, to me anyway. Shortly after the 5, Mercedes realeses the CLS, which is obviously not something you would expect from them. They did it because of the different styling that bangle brought to the table, which made people think Hmmm maybe there is something different buy nice out there.
I honestly can't wait for the M6, with some Deep Dish wheels and exaust!
