On my way home from the office, I discovered how to replicate it every time. If I floor the car from a stop it will not sputter. If I floor it from a roll (either in first or second) it will sputter right around 5k rpms.

I really have a love hate relationship with this car.

I would start by removing the air box and smoking it. Take the oil fill cap off when you do it. Gas cap also.

This happened to me everytime i floor it on a roll it sputtered so i listen to Markski advice and he said it is your FPR hose it has fallen off on the FPR regulator. Sure enough he was right and the sputtering stopped. Mine too still had full boost showing.

Completely went through the car this morning and everything is as it should be. Not sure what my next move will be.

read exactly what tim is asking you...its maybe not a boost leak, it could be a leak between the maf and the inlet of the turbo...check it

I did the best I could without a Smoke Tester.

Here is something interesting though. The car absolutely will not sputter with the PSM off, it just tried to make it do it for the last 30 minutes. I had a Mercedes that the traction control would turn on by itself due to a bad Yaw sensor. Is this a possibility?

Tested my theory again. Traction control on, car will sputter. PSM off pulls hard. Either way the PSM light does not flash ever. Any thoughts? I am officially confused.

You need to do a full boost leak test and smoke test you have a leak somewhere or it might be a coil. Data log it with miss fires and see if your getting any. If you are then theres your issue.

This very well could be ignorance on my part, but why would turning off the psm impact a leak or coil?

The car also will not do it when I go back to the stock setting on my tune.

Since it is potentially tune related, perhaps you are running out of fuel...have you made any upgrades to the fuel system?

Ironically that was was the first thing I said you need to look at along with the Maf.

That is true! Do you think this is something that could happen over time with a Tune?

The fuel system is stock. I suppose it is very possible, but do you think this would occur all of the sudden with a tune?
