Good Hifi installer in sf bay area
Anyone can recommend a good hifi installer in the SF bay area? This is for my GT2 and I'm a bit concerned about working with CC or frys...
Thanks

I heard that Sound Innovations in Hayward is good, but the owner does not negotiate.
There's also another good one is the southbay, I can't seem to remember the name right now.
they both do high end cars.

Friend of mine was probly the best installer from the former VIP motorworks in san bruno. He's the only one i'd let touch my car and did a solid job on a simple set up for me. Not sure what the status is of the ppl who purchased the business now, i'll see what I can find out and if he is still working locally.

I went through the same search and couldn't find anybody I trusted close by, so I went with the famous Rod Birch at Car Audio Innovations (Roseville, which is outside of Sacramento). He did a fantastic job. If you want someone who is more particular about your car than you are, including the stuff you will never see, he is the guy.

Have you guys seen work done by VIP? I did a websearch and found their work to be really tasteless & ricey. This is the VIP that re-started in 2003. Is the "new" VIP still around?
Who are the guys that used to work under the old management? Any pics of the jobs they've done?

Monney's in Redwood City tend to do all the Ferrari and Porsche's.
They worked on my 550 and 355 and we very good.

Here are a couple of shot of the 550 inside.

Again, they are probably the best.

I didn't know Monney does all that custom work. I had them replace door speakers in my prev car which were wired out of phase by their San Mateo store. It buzzed a little when vol was up as the speaker bumped into the door panel. I think they are alright.
Anyone here use Reus? They offer great service and can come up from LA to do your car. On a major job costing several grand, it may be worth the money.

If you want quality sound and a nearly invisible install have Reus Audio come out to you and install your system. They will do the install wherever you want and you can have complete confidence in them. Do a search for Reus on this board or any P-car board and you will know what I mean. Several guys on this board have Reus systems including myself, Neil, Shank, DJ, Luting Chen, Redline Robert's Murcielago etc etc etc. They are not cheap but then again neither is your GT2.
