I'm sick of looking at the gold crest on the driver side airbag . . . but not like I want to pay $700 for a new one with a silver crest.

Some people have just attached cheap crests with 3M tape after removal of the gold one.

I'd like to see how the airbag brakes open when deployed to determine if the new and improved silver crest - attached with only 3M tape - is likely to become a permanent part of the driver's brain during deployment.

Also, I have found silver crests for sale on ebay but none that have rivets attached on the back so that they could be attached correctly to the airbag cover.

Any ideas where they can be found?
