Cool Power Steering Pump replacement after GT2 Clutch conversion

I recently installed a GT2 clutch inversion. Ever since splitting the Power Steering pump case it is leaking. I pulled it apart again to make sure I did not pinch a seal. Anyone know if there is a seal kit available? If not has anyone attempted using a GT2 power steering pump instead of the manual turbo pump? I really don't want to pull a new pump apart if i don't have to!!? Any comments would be helpful

is it leaking were the reservoir meets the pump? seal there. or is it leaking at the back of the pump were you plugged the line?
a gt2/auto tt p/s pump and reservoir will work just fine. its what i have in mine when i did the conversion

look up autoatlanta.com they have diagrams of almost every section of the car. you can order most any oring or gasket from them

It is leaking where the case splits in half. Big o ring gasket there and it is flat as can be. I just didn't want to pull it back apart with a GT2 pump in hand and find out it won't work because of some hose inlet or outlet connection or something!!

main line at the bottom of the pump and the return line at the top of the reservoir is all thats needed for a gt2 conversion. i removed all the lines completely for a clean install and just have the 2 oem lines left
if you get a new oring it would be infinitely cheaper than a pump swap

Agreed!!! the o ring is not easy to find. May have to improvise . New pump cost me $260. That's not bad to only have to do it ONE more time!!!haha

Actually if you took #1 apart. If you remember having to do that to pull the drive gear out of the pump. There is very large diameter o ring between the two halves of the pump. That's what I need. This conversion kit and clutch replacement has cost so much not to mention the rear tire replacement!!ha….. What's another $260????

They can be plugged - I opted for the GT2 unit to avoid hassle and leaks.

The lines can be plugged. I can't stress enough to pay special attention to the pump seals when splitting the pump to remove the drive gear inside. Also replace the o ring between the pump and reservoir. It is a must!! Be careful with the reservoir itself too. For some reason mine sprung a leak as well. I think with a little care leaks can avoided.

Replacing the pump to a GT2 def makes the line issue easier but there is still a line at the reservoir to deal with. Unless you want to buy a $600 reservoir😳.
