Shifter boot aluminum trim

Does anybody know if the aluminum trim piece that goes around the leather shifter boot is available as an add on? I have an 01' TT without it and would like to add it if possible.

I was wondering the same thing. My '03 C2 had it and my '02 TT does not. It really makes a difference in the console appearance and I would love to know where to obtain one.

Check autoatlanta.com they have good diagrams with part numbers.

Thanks...I forgot about that site. Unfortunately it looks like the aluminum "horseshoe" is not available separately. I couldn't find one on e-bay either.

I looked everywhere with no success. I am almost certain that you need to purchase a shift **** that has it incorporated.

You know...I just saw some bubbling on mine. When I pulled it off I noticed the "paint" was like a type of aluminum foil wrapped on it. Wtf. I ended up CF wrapping it and clearing it
