RUF RT12...anyone here have one?
Does anyone here have (or had) the RUF RT12? I have SIGNIFICANT interest in this car and wonder how it truly compares to something along the lines of a GT. Clearly they are both different beasts but I would be very grateful to anyone who has first hand experience with the RT12.
IMO, I love the GT but the looks may be too much for a low key person like me. The RT12 appeals to me because of the performance, RUF quality and service, and exclusivity.
Your thoughts?

I have *heard* that only the one press car has been produced and there were some issues with the car mechanically that has held back production of others, but that they are sold out for a long time once they do begin production (I heard they sold somthing like 200 cars!)...
Again I HEARD this and it might not be accurate... Hopefully Hans and the guys at RUF will correct me if I am wrong!

Are you working at/with RUF now? I know you and/or your family have been customers, but are you employed with the company now? If so, how did that come about, and what do you do there?

Hi David,
I have been here since February, really enjoying myself. At the moment i do everything from sorting out the archive(the biggest collection of car magazines in the world) to giving Ruf tours to visitors. Basically helping out as best i can.
I got the job because mr ruf asked if i would like to come over and spend more time here
all the best
