GT2 GT700 Lives!
Thanks to Stephen Kaspar and the fine crew at Imagine Auto (Ben, Karl, and Steven) and Stephen's lovely wife Roxanne, the GT2 is back on the road again with a healthy dose of horsepower, beefed up internals, and Moton Clubsport suspension. The initial programming produced some very good numbers on the Mustang Chassis Dyno: 568RWHP & 533RWTQ on pump gas and 637RWHP & 645RWTQ on 100 unleaded. I am hoping to do some further programming with 103-109 unleaded.
The car is an absolute blast to drive. The Moton Clubsport Suspension is very compliant (600 & 900# Springs) and solid with no creaks or rattles and gives the car a very vault like feel on the street, it really shows its merit on the track...shaved 3 seconds off my lap times at Barber Motorsports Park this past weekend (More HP and slicks help too). With the pump gas program and the car in 2nd gear at 3500, matting the throttle results in a slight squat and rapid forward accleration...just a hint of wheel spin (for the street, I use Pirelli R-Compound Corsas). With the 100 unleaded program and the above scenario, the acceleration is only interrupted briefly by the appplication of 2 - 12" wide, 30' long patches of rubber to the asphalt, then your head is pinned to the seat until you let up. I did not expect the GT2 to hook up as well as it does...awesome.
Many were wondering about the Tilton Triple Disc Clutch...it DOES drive like stock...NO on/off, plenty of slip-a-bility.
Stephen, Thank You for all the hard work...the result is exactly what I wanted.
I would also like to thank Todd Zuccone of Evolution Motorsports for all the parts and guidance...man this is some good ****!
Here are some photos of the engine build and car.

Cleve,
That is fricking AWESOME! I bet some of the guys you passed on the straights were crapping in their pants! Car looks sweet and those are great numbers.
Congrats, nothing like full throttle acceleration in one of these modded bad boys!
