A couple of missiles from Bahrain

Here's another friend's McLaren F1 GTR. One of two F1's in Bahrain. The other is stock but this one's been a race car that was converted by McLaren to be, somewhat, street legal. This picture has been shot in the Bahrain International Curcuit as well during one of the events there.

Yet another close friend's JUN modded Skyline. it's also nudging the BHP1000 mark. The owner also has an original RUF CTR Yellow Bird and I'd post the pictures of that classic monster as soon as he's back.

Nice pictures Khalid. I hope we will be seeing them all this year at the speed trip races and Bahrain P Club events. Maybe some of the US friends here would like to join one of the events? I had some more shots of the F1 also the RUF CTR2 and yellowbird, I will send them to you if I find them.
BTW, does any of these beasts have quarter mile times or trap speed numbers? I guess they must have been to the drag strip?
Thanks

Khalid, when are you coming to Sweden for some ice driving?
I'm still excited after the M3 Fahrer training @ Nürburgring GP although it is so long time since. Many thanks!
Both Porsche and Audi (I guess BMW as well) have excellent trainings in the winter.
A friend has a McLaren F1 GTR just like that. It's for sale

Jean, I"ll check with the Bahrain 996 tt if he took it to the drag strip after he had it upgraded to GT900, but the rest have not. They drive them, purely, on the track. Good to hear from you Jean, how's the trip to Nurburgring pan out?
Erik, the owner of the JUN Skyline went for ice driving, in Finland I think, last year. We have a BMW driver training center on the track as well.

I take it you went to Germany too? The 'Ring was fantastic, excellent testing ground for setting up my chassis and final touches on the engine. Here is a pic, I hope 996ers. don't mind.
Looking forward to see you again this season and hopefully the Kanoo blue beast will be there.

No Jean, I was in France and then went to Malaysia. Looking forward to seeing you on the track as well. Can't wait to see your aircooled beast running.
