I think we need to rename Sharky's car to Blackbird.

I think we need to rename Sharky's car to Blackbird.
Here's the new data on Sharky's runs today at the track
60' = 1.69
1/4 = 10.6 @ 135MPH
103F Temp
Videos and timeslip scanned on the way. No BS, all parts all available from Sharkwerks/EVO/GIAC. The incredible run wasn't done on an infinite budget, bull**** one off parts from BFE or any of that jazz.
Sharky would like to thank Todd and Mike @ EVO, James at Sharkwerks, a grouphug to Garret and Andy at GIAC, Joan for paying the bills/putting up with his **** and everyone that's come down to the shop to show support.
I guess this is additional proof that the Tip isn't too slow.
Lastly I'd like to give a big congrats to Sharky on this run as its been a stressful time for him. Good job Alex!
More to come....

Alex isn't going to come on and spam excuses as to why he didn't trap higher or get a better ET but we do know he has additional room for a quicker time and trap speed. Alignment, tire (he's on street tire), additional engine tuning, better track prep, cooler temps and so on will all lead to even better future times but that's up to Alex to release . This doesn't even include future top secret Sharkwerks products that may surface in the not too distant future....
I'm giving Alex updates from home base as he's still at the track waiting for additional runs tonight. He appreciates all the support and will reply to this thread once he's back some time tonight.

Now...the question on my mind is...if Todd's car didn't spin inside the tires last year in LV, what would/could it've done in the 1/4 considering it trapped at 140?

That doesn't mean they'll run a good time at the track. As Supra owners have proven time and time again, you can make tons of power and not go anywhere quickly if the car isn't setup or driven properly.

Awsome Sharkman. Street tires. Probably way too much neg. camber. 103'. Very impressive. You will be posting even better times if you decide to set the car up specifically for the 1/4 mile. After watching that short video clip you posted the other day, I've been pondering the bennifits of the quick get-away afforded with a tip.

independent rear suspension and all wheel drive it just is not easy.
I do applaud this accomplishment don't get me wrong, but you said the fastest tt in the US and did not qualify that. If you said fastest tt at the dragstrip with a slip to prove it then you are probably correct.
Now take that GT1000 versus Alex's car on the highway from 60 mph up and I would bet on the GT1000. But enough of this jargon.
Alex you da the Man! King of the quarter mile until someone else can knock you off and provide a slip.
