pic of TechArt Cayenne debut at CEC private event

i know, wrong forum, but i thought most would be interested.

I have 997 SEMA pics, will sort and post next week.

This Cayenne apparently was the world debut of these parts....the shots suck cuz the lighting was awful, but a VERY well executed showing by the folks at CEC. Private invite only to this event.

Also debuted at the show (at least for NA) was the ACS E60 5 series and the Lorinser widebody SL.

Someone should move this to the cayenne section.

Anyway, it looks very nice, not overdone at all.

I think those are 22" wheels on the Cayenne. They look good but I wonder how they ride?

Definately a nice upgrade over the stock look of the Cayenne. As previously mentioned, it was done tastefully, not like the Hamann kit at all.

Nice looking Cayenne, too many lower lights for my taste but its sharp, those are the 22" Formulas.

Lee, Post the 997 pics.

I just swapped my Techart Formula 20s for the Turbo 18s for the winter and man does the truck look like ****! It's amazing how different wheels make the Cayenne look. It's actually kind of ugly without the Techart 20s!

IMO, the Techart stuff looks okay. I like the front air dam, but do not like the lights. The side valance is hard to see. I'm not sure why they put the piece above the Cayenne logo on the rear, but the rear valance looks pretty good.

I can't wait for Kevin to start modding his Cayenne!

You may be on to something! My tires are nearly gone after only 12,500 miles. So, since I'm going to need new rubber anyway, maybe I'll swap the 20s for 22s. I'm sure Matt will give me back what I paid for the wheels on a trade!

Have to say I am kinda disappointed....
I thought they would come out with a radical kit like the Type II on the turbo for this truck...this kit is a bit to "unnoticable" for me, esp. since knowing Techart it will take mucho $$$$$$ to pic one up
Evan
PS-The Techart wheels really make the truck tho...

AMG ETR,
I have to agree with you, the front looks kind of plain. I expected something more profound from TechArt. I would love a GTS type front that would match my TT.

I do have a feeling though that they will come up with several kits.
