A 127 mph trap speed is beyond optimistic, it's ridiculous. This car will be as fast as an srt-10 viper I bet.

 

They must've shifted too early. :P

 

I really doubt the 127 mph trap speed for the production models, but 116 mph is just ridiculous! They had to have screwed up something in testing...

 

I think the most impressive part are it's skidpad #'s

Z06 performance > 996 Turbo performance; 996 GT3 performance

 

keep in mind, R&T generally has slower numbers. For instance, they only had the Ford GT trapping at 121. Now let's look at that, though. They had the GT doing 0-100 in 8.6 sec, and 60-100 in 5.0 sec. They have the Z06 doing 0-100 in 9.0 sec, and 60-100 in 4.8 sec. Explain that to me. The comparison shows the Z06 should have been close to, if not at least at, 121 mph or so. But yet they got 116. They fudged something.

I am waiting to see the real-world numbers from real-world owners. Until then, these numbers and posts make me laugh.

Bottom line was and always has been, those that want and like Porsche's OWN them, I personally dont care if it does 0-100 in 8.0 Sec or 6.0 to me it will always bee a Chevy. And I have a Denali to remind me of the Detroit know how
