If you would scan and post the test. I can't believe after all the hype the numbers are that low.

hmm, the numbers are not quite as impressive as i thought they would be...other mags testing them much faster. another ford gt? nonetheless, for sub-70k, it is an incredible performance deal, and its sheer performance makes up for its interior or lack of refinement

I don't have a scanner at home, mine is at the office but I won't be there until Tuesday. I just received the October issue of Road and Track and posted their summary results.

Car and Driver/Motor Trend magazine results

These are probably more representative of the Z06's true capabilities (unfortunately )

Lateral acceleration: 1.05 g

Car and Driver
0-30: 1.6
0-60: 3.6
0-100: 7.9
0-150: 17.5
1/4 mile: 11.7 @ 125 mph
Top Speed: 198 mph (mfg claim)
Lateral acceleration: 0.98g

Hmm....the plain-jane C6 tested in R&T (in the US) at:
0 - 60 = 4.5
1/4 mi = 12.8
Braking from 60 = 110ft
Braking from 80 = 194ft
Skidpad = .98g

By Europe, are we talking...France perhaps?

Im the first to say, i hate Corvettes, but id be more apt to believe the 11 sec 127mph time, then a 12.3@ 116. But heh, i hope so, just be another slow POS.

Understand that Road & Track consistently gets lower #'s than the other magazine. They got 13 flat from the last Z06 (other magazines were getting 12.4-12.6 sec.). Whan Car & Driver peeled off a 12.9 sec. 1/4 for the NSX, R&T got 13.4 sec.

Wait till you see this car at a local drag strip. I predict it won't do better than 121 traps.

If it has 500 HP and gearing for 60+ in first it will have to be a sub-4 s car. Otherwise, something is way off.
