I recently got a 14 Maserati GT Conv Sport and thought I was all done with 996tt...until I took the mazzer through a few turns. It's an awesome GT that sounds incredible - but she is NO sports car.

I don't know how much fun you can have at that price $30k w/o going USDM.

 

I love my 2001 Turbo, but I think of it as a consumable commodity...it is to be used up. So many Porsche owners obsess about milage and resale value, they let their amazing cars molder in the garage under a cover. My Norton has a sticker on it..."Ride it--don"t hide it". My 993 had 160K on her when I sold it. I fully expect more on my turbo. In fact, leaving for a 3,000 mile Florida trip in the AM driving the Turbo.
IMHO this is the way to fully enjoy our Turbos.
