I'd like to come. For now my car is stuck down at EVO. We'll see if HRE can ever get my wheels done, (for the 3rd time). It's been 2.5 months now and still waiting.

buddy,

It appears you have four, Neil (PSI), yourself (PES), sharkey (EVO, Sharkwerks and Ken (?).

How many do you have to have and by what date for this to be a real go?

As for myself and KA .............. undecided for the moment.

Craig I think you took his post either personal or to serious. I think Buddy was only responding to Hotrodguy's jab at the meet. No need to get worked up to write 3 paragraphs of defense Buddy was not trying to disrespect.

Buddy I won't compete but I will make the drive down!

Craig well stated I am bored with hearing a bout how fast his car is, I found more interest reading about your new custom made exhaust.

In retrospect, you are probably right. Buddy, I'm sorry I responded so forcefully. I hope the meet is an unmitigated success!!!

Hey Craig chill baby I was just trying to goad some people into coming to the national meet and have a fun shootout. I could care less if your car is there or not. Like you said you have nothing to prove and neither do I. I just enjoy the friendly competition. My car will probably be the slowest one oh well it will still be fun!

As for you Marc you can kiss my big fat white hiney. No one makes you read my posts just skip them I just skip yours!

Dr T and J Seven thanks I do love this car and Porsche in general. I really don't mean to come across like I am bragging I have just waited so long. over 1 year to get this car back and I am just so happy to have it back.

I personally love to hear about other peoples cars like Sharky ripping a 10.6 in the qtr mile makes me feel a part of it. Hearing the Carrera GT guys talk about their cars is the closest I will get to owning one.

I read your posts and sometimes find them interesting, however since you picked up your car you have taken a ridiculous amount of space and threads discussing, about how fuc*** fast the car is and I dont happen to care..the thing is can you master that power that you have under the hood and is it worth it, as well you were in European Car how many years ago...hum....u are like Woody Harrelson in "Kingpin".

As well I dont break your ***** I was purly reading Craigs comments an agreeing but if you insitist I wont read your posts dealing with how fast your car is...I hope your *** gets wiped up in the shootout!

Alot of memebers on this board have very fast cars but they dont post several times a week about how fast they are. That being said Porsches are not drag racing cars you want that get a Vette and a few gold chains and you can be done. I will take a Viper put some NOS and wipe your *** with it...so YOU CAN KISS MY ***!

Gee I didn't know space was such a premium here on the board. Why don't you bring your M3 to the shootout and put it on the track and we will see if I can handle all that power? Frankly I don't give a damn what you think Marckie!

So I will just ignore and not respond to any more of your ridiculous crap! Gday Mate!

Buddy/Marc, you are BOTH valuable members of this forum. No need for name calling. Lets keep things respectful. I understand where both of you are coming from. On the one hand, Buddy has recently posted several "my car is unbelievably fast" posts. However, his overwhelming enthusiasm is understandable given the protracted period that he was Porsche-less and, as the doctor observed, this is likely his primary, if not exclusive, outlet for that enthusiasm. I, as much as anyone, understand how emotionally draining the waiting can be, and I look forward to experiencing the resulting enthusiasm (I am supposed to get my car back on Monday).

Time for a group hug!!

Craig
