Calling out all tuners and high hp owners!
I want to make sure that you guys know that the National Meet is also going to be a shootout. We are planning on renting Texas Motor Speeway for 2 days. We will hold a DE event for anyone interested and then the last half of the second day will be the shootout for anyone who thinks their tt or Viper or whatever is badass! We will test the cars on the roadcourse, braking, acceleration, etc...
We hope to have magazine coverage, so let's see you guys put your money where your mouth has been and get behind this thing. The RED BEAST is in although I am sure it will get trounced by alot of other bad to the bone rides!

With all due respect, your characterization of people on this board as “bench racers” is disrespectful and inappropriate. A bench racer is someone who constantly boasts about the purported speed of his car, but refuses to back it up and/or race anyone. There are VERY few people on this forum who boast about the speed of their cars. To the contrary, most of the guys here with high HP cars remain remarkably humble and low key about their cars. In fact, YOU are probably the most vocal person on this entire forum about the attributes of your car.
There mere fact that someone does not want to travel thousands of miles simply to compare their car to a few other cars hardly makes them a bench racer. Frankly, I have no interest in putting 3000 miles on my car (driving there and back), or paying $2500 (to ship my car there and back), simply to compare my car to others. I suspect that is the primary reason why most people are declining to attend. I would probably show up if you did it local to me, but otherwise, the hassle simply isn’t worth it.
I built my car for my own personal enjoyment. Proving that my car is faster than someone else’s car here on 6Speedonline doesn’t add anything to my level of enjoyment. Given that my car now has essentially everything that Sharky’s car has, and a bit more (modified intake plenum, intercooler end tanks and Y-Pipe), I have a pretty good idea about the comparative performance of my car. I do not need to travel 3000 miles to confirm it.
Your willingness to take the laboring oar in terms of planning a national meet is admirable. However, please refrain from denigrating people (e.g., labeling them “bench racers”) who decline to attend.
Good luck with the event!!
