Going to 18 inch wheels helped a little, but I don't think it was worth it.
Interesting! When I switched from my stock suspension to PSS9's the ride IMPROVED drastically.

I've got PSS10's and I'm lowered. Height is 25.25" to the center of the wheel well. I'm running 235/315/18's. With the wider tires and the 18's the ride is nice. I love the new PS2's. I'm sticking with it. I was thinking of going to 19's but then decided to stay with the 18's. I'm thinking the Porsche guys thought a lot about this so who was I to second guess them.

What are you running your tire pressure at? Drop it 5-10 pounds until it feels better.

I dropped it 4 psi and I'll go down a little more until it settles in. I'm thinking another 2-3 psi for the street.

Just to throw this in there as well... get your tires and wheels (whatever size you choose) roadforce balanced. I've had other cars where it didn't seem to make much of a difference vs a regular balancing, but on my tt at least, I could really tell a difference. Much smoother. I'm running 235/315/18.

I bought my car with the X-73 suspension. The seller told me it was stock, and I didn't know any better. I've never driven a 911 with stock suspension, but I cant see it riding worse than mine. I have to be selective where I go, because the roads are so rough around here.

Jim - 40 psi is pretty high for the rears unless you are maxing out the car's load limits.

40 psi is wayyyy too high.
run a 305 35.
otherwise try 34 psi rear and 30 front.

edit, i didnt realize that the 40psi was for a 315.
you cant really run much lower than 37/38 on a tire like that.
theres absolutely no benefit to running a 315 tire.

I wouldn't run lower then cold 40R and 32 F on the street because of easier pot hole damage,, and the tires will have a mushy feel,,

36/40 is a great place to start and even stay for "street" driving with the ps2 235/315 combo. less psi = more squat. i run 33-34 x 38-39 cold.
