Question Touch Up Paint & Stone Chip Repair

I'm sure this has been done to death, but searching around, I couldn't find answers to these questions, so I thought I'd ask directly.

1) My 2003 TT is regular gloss black. If I want to get touch up paint, do I need to get Porsche brand paint or will any glossy black (e.g., Dupli-Color) touch up paint work?

2) Any recommendations on doing touch up work vs. sending to a shop?

3) If by hand, any recommendations on doing chip repair the "traditional" way (see Ammo NYC youtube video) vs using something like this: http://www.drcolorchip.com/select-product.php?

Any thoughts would be appreciated - I've been trying to read up on this but some voices of experience would help!

I've used the drcolorchip and it does work on non metallic cars. Take your time with it to get the chip filled in , you'll need to build up the layers over several applications to get it to the level of the factory paint.

Fortunately black is the easiest of all paints to match.

Get porsche matched paint (I just looked up my paint code and then ordered off a supplier on amazon).

Buy from the dealer it's cheap. Apply color till it's level with factory paint, this takes a number of coats. Once level apply clear on top, 2 coats let dry 24hrs. Wet sand with 1200grit wet paper till you can't feel it (smooth). Polish back to factory shine with polish / wax.

I have used drcolorchip with good results. Filling, clear and sanding is the best but if you have a lot of chips might as well respray.

Whatever you do don't get sucked into the EZ Chip product. I tried it. It pisses me off just thinking about that crap.
