New exhaust new UMW tune….
I got this car since 2008 and only this winter decided to spend a bit of money to improve the riding pleasure A new Kline exhaust and a reprogramming by Kevin at Ultimate Motor Works are the only mod on this car ( +new diverter valves)…(New engine mounts RSS will be installed soon) Finally the weather improved a little bit here in Montreal. This morning at 07:30 I went out for my first ride after this winter modification. Temp was 13 C and no wind….Did the speed adaptation recommended by Kevin and after decided to open the throttle...I am simply amazed!!!! I got a new car!!!!!! Not only the sound is improved a lot but the power out of this completely stock car is amazing… I am surprised of the power at high gears! Seems that I got more torque at low rpm and faster respond from the turbos… Isn't strange to have all this power just after a magic touch from Kevin  Thanks for your work Kevin!
Note: of course this is the end of it. I will not spend any more money on this car for modifications. Only for normal maintenance

Congrats though on your updates! Can't beat that "new car" feeling - especially after having it for 6 years.

I noticed in your signature you have the 997 shifter. What are your thoughts between the 996 and 997 shifters?
The 997 shifter can be picked up pretty cheap compared to a 997 SSK. I really don't like my 996 shifter at all.
I will also be replacing the ****/boot to a 997 shifter as it feels nicer (comfort/grip wise) than the 996 shifter.
A tune and exhaust changes everything with these cars.
I still get great compliments from people and even had an officer complete a U-Turn last Sunday just to pull up beside me and have me roll down my windows to tell me "Nice Ride!"

Yes I do….I did several pulls this morning and no clutch smell and no slipping so far. I don't think at this power level (I guess still below 500) a stronger clutch is needed….

Riding the clutch out in 1st and then a power shift to 2nd will tell the tale if it is slipping,,
Way back when With a tune and exhaust on my X-50 with the stock clutch that's the only area it slipped in ,,never under load/boost in any gear from a roll on..
