High Idle P0507 no vacuum leaks...

Thanks Guys,
Looks like the MAF is next. I have cleaned it and it had no effect. I have cleaned the TB twice (and reset it) and it was a little better, but within a couple drives the idle was acting up again... Funny, we drove the Boxster into work today and I monitored the idle and position. It runs just fine and has a super solid idle. That position at idle is 12.6%. The turbo is like 2.4%. I'd love to know what it should be on a turbo (stock).
Anyway, I'll look into the MAF.
Thanks,
Franny

you cannot clean the maf on these cars and expect to fully eliminate the cause of your issues should they in fact be maf related. cleaning them is by no means foolproof just foolhardy. no disrecpect meant, since you're beyond most of us in diy skill level,.. but change the maf to the oem bosch #124.. THEN if you still have an issue you can rule out the faulty maf as either causitive or even contributory to the idle hunting.

No, good call! That is next. I'll report back after the new one is installed.
Oh, I'm just a beginner with this car I hope to get to the level of all you guys at some point
Again, thanks for all your help!

Hi All,
I have some news to report! Looks like the new MAF did the trick. The car is idling on the tick now I'm really happy that was it. ...and I did find a few small leaks and got those fixed as well so, yea!
Interesting though; I did an electrical test on the old unit and it was completely in spec at 0.98V cold and 1.3V hot so...
Now on to a couple weeping radiators. I have a full set in the mail from CSF. I've never replaced radiators so that will be interesting
Just want to say thanks again for all your help!
