Question for 360 Modena owners

What kind of maintenance costs are associated with the 360? Also, do you recommend purchasing a low-mileage Euro car which has been converted over to US specs? What are some things I should look out for when looking for a 360 Modena?

Thanks.

I'm looking at 2000 Modenas with the 6-speed trans. I'm really curious about the maintenance expenses since the common belief is that Ferraris cost an arm and a leg to maintain and spend half their life in the shop.

Euro or 'grey market' cars have no warranty here in the US...

Check out this thread...near the end of this page (3), there's a discussion of 355/360 service costs and some of the myths relating therto.

Jack, thanks for the link. Sounds like it would cost around $3K per year to maintain a 360 Modena...not bad at all. Has your 360 been pretty reliable so far? How many miles do you put on it every year?

Thanks,

-Awais

I'd say more like $1500 max per year (and that's for "overkill" maintenance), until the 3yr/30,00 mile service. I've had the 360 for about 3 years and it has been quite reliable. I only drive it 4-5K miles per year. It could serve as a daily driver in terms of dependability, if it were not for the "attention factor" -- the 360 draws people like moths to a flame.

Thanks Jack. You've been a great help. If I can find a 360 in my price range, I may go for it. I've never driven a 360 though so can't really compare it to the 996 Turbo.
