One thing about this forum ................ you don't dare ask for the time for fear they will tell you how to build the watch instead.

Seriously, however we want to agree is fine. Let's just get some input.

Well Ken, not really ................. you just happen to be the most intelligent watch builder.

You had some great suggestions. The unfortunate part is we have three pages and few real answers to make any comparisons.

Ok I got some video. the first one in the sequence is the TT and the second is my EVO8... notice that the dashboard boost reading is delayed about 1/2 second.
I have Kevins stage5s.. cats and streight pipes.

blunt is infamous around these parts
Why don't you guys actually log things and compare? Videos and eyeballing is a pretty bad way to compare, especially since gauges aren't as accurate as the sensors your ECU has access to.

The proceedure would be to be cruising in the respective gear at 2600 rpm's. Then apply full throttle and determine how long it takes to start producting boost. Yes, .01 bar. I mentioned third and fourth to get safe mid range power. Don't want this to be an unsafe excercise.
I didn't have a stop watch handy, I have one at work, I'll give this a try tomorrow. However, in my test today, from 2600 rpms to full boost (missed the part about "starting to make boost") it was probably less than three seconds in both gears. Timing was about the same from third to fourth. I'll try it the other way tomorrow for you Chad. My car however, is stock.
