I absolutely hated the way stock clutch felt because the engagement point was not consistent. I had a hard time shifting through gears smoothly.
With the spring removed, the clutch feel is much more linear. The pedal effort did go up a little bit, but still not bad (I still have the hydraulic assist).

That little trick,,which I posted about that in the past, it took the edge off the that bad high modulation that I got with my past CM set-ups..
It made just enough of a difference to make it more livable in city traffic..
