Actually I think a driver's upgrade would be the easiest step to cut lap times, but I guess what your saying is: suspension, then brakes.

I am having a difficult time convincing myself that it is worth changing the suspension and lowering the car for less than 10 days a year of track time with the problems that will arise in everyday driving, like speed bumps, driveways, etc.
Changing the suspension is totally worth it!!! track or not.

Suspension, power, brakes, all can be 'fixed' with-out alot of difficulty..........IMHO the things I've always wished were easier to fix.......longer 1st gear........throttle responce (I get in the 993 on the weekends and am reminded what throttle blip is )

Also.....weight can be reduced, and for me and the all-wheel for the track.......I absolutely love it, have no problem admitting I'm not a good enough driver to keep 600HP to just 2 tires under control (and at anything near the times).......but to each his own on that.......the Turbo is definately not a small sports car, and you can't expect to drive it as one. Just my $.2

I've actually heard that mine rides better with the new JICs on it. Go figure.
