Oh my! Remember Buddy, if you get caught, it's because you weren't going fast enough! If you do get stopped, do not exit the car and approach the officer to give a friendly handshake.

To avoid getting speeding tickets when pulled over: keep crack pipe on dash and 9mm on read deck.

Your best bet is to use the V1 because if you get a scanner you will have to update the codes every time you get into a new city, which would be a pain. But if you still want to get one, the uniden is the way to go. Here is a small write up and some info on it:

Having spent some time on the m5forum (ex bmwm5.com) looking at videos from Cannonball and Gumball a CB seems priceless.

Lonman (the guy with a GT2 and UK lic plate "I CPU") have several in-car videos where you can hear the CB scanner going off when they are trying to catch up or shortcut the rally.

you could always use the D.C.O.A. motto "never lift"
if you don't slow down re3ally who is going to catch you
police helicopter will only do about 200 mph!!! So you got them beat no problem....
