heading down your road next year sometime Johnspeed with the billets..... although it is scary enough now for an old bloke... stayed on the 93 octane tune for all of 200 miles and went back to the addictive corn juice

Sounds good, the 93 is so much less power than the E85 it is not funny !
Was reading some tuning papers and race engine analysis stuff which basically implied E85 is as good as C16/Q16 and maybe just below VP Import for performance... interesting stuff

don't believe everything you read! i have found e85 to actually range from e58 to e70. i have yet to find actual e85 from a pump. the c85 i get from vp racing only netted me a e77 with 5 gals of pump e85( added 10 gals c85). at best the equivalent to race fuel would be 105 or maybe 109 octane on a good day. this is the very reason i wanted a e85 fuel analyzer in my car. so i know exactly what the fuel is I'm running

There are some threads here on E85 E98 vs C16, Q16 etc... but the thread below is interesting, especially the comments by T1 Race

The analysis paper is http://delphi.com/pdf/techpapers/2011-01-0900.pdf
fascinating analysis and prescient conclusions and this http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/...nol-fuel-test/
another long thread here http://www.srtforums.com/forums/f24/...ection-635999/

he had multiple accounts - that was the official reason. he said one was made for his wife and another for his neighbor and he did not use them. it all happenned after him and i called out this guy for fraudulent 60-130 times in the 997tt forum. guy claimed to run 5.90 with 1.5 G spikes in a tune/exhaust only 997.2 which is impossible.
