A friend who has had many nice cars over the years from muscle cars, older F-cars, M5, RS6, Vettes and most recently C5 Z06 just picked up his C6 Z06 yesterday. He dropped me a brief note to say it is by far the best car he has ever driven, a true beast. I'm looking forward to seeing it shortly and we will probably do a few rolling pulls to see how we compare. Keep an eye out for them!

 

it certainly is a powerful car...i considered it but porsche is in my blood.

Wowwww WTF, that's underrated like like 100 HP and lb ft of torque

 

seems the majority of new sports cars comming out are extremely underrated

 

although, that car has long tube headers, i've seen those add up to 40HP on C5's

 

seems like only Ferrari use their own unit to rate their cars!

 

thats whp not crank. chevy rated it at 505 crank HP, and the initial tests were 440whp, which equates to about 510hp or so (there are calculations on one of the vette boards). so no its not underrated

The headers on this car added 50 hp and over 60 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. That's an addition of about 57 hp and 69 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel.

I'm thinking that seems a little high.

WTF are you talking about? That dyno was at the wheels, aand almost matches its crank HP and TQ figures from the factory at the wheels, that is EXTREMELY UNDERRATED power, get it now?
