The parachute is removable. The cage had to go in since we don't have the liberty of running on a non nhra track. I didn't want to spend the extra $8k just for another 9 sec run but it is what it is. Need the cage for safety too because its starting to get fast. If the stars line up it will be a good number .
I had a Porsche 4 point cage in there but it didn't fly with the officials.
Next is a stand alone and maybe some bigger injectors. But I want to first Max out this set up.

Why do "official" quarter mile times have to be done on some asshat "official" drag strip whereas our 60-130 and 100-150 etc can be done anywhere. Such a shame to me to rip out even more of that beautiful Porsche interior.
Anyway, best of luck mate

Some non nhra tracks don't care. But once u go over 150 mph and into 9s they wake up.
I didn't want to add weight trust me. But I'm close to getting this job done and was not going to give up because one official said no

Did you strip the interior after the 9.66 time ?
How can you improve traction off the line ?
#25
traction is improved via different tires, and that I have 4 sets of
insides is stripped and has been.
