Due to it running mid 9s on a NHRA track we were forced to install a parachute and a 8 point cage. We are very close to completion with my 996TT. here are some pics of the progress...
next time the shake down pass will be a low 9 sec run

WOW..... Lots of luck, especially consider Chris Green/USP's 9.46 is the next time, and it's a 6MT car. The next and fastest 996/997 Turbo is the Al-Anabi, which was running a sequential gearbox & probably had anti-lag (albeit, that car is built for high speed events and probably can pick up lots of time if it was rebuilt for the 1/4 mile)

 

Nice clean install, that can be easily concealed with the license plate when on the street.

thanks guys... we ran a 9.66 and it was the shake down one run they allowed us... I think we have a good chance to running 9.3s....
