E85 FTW - Get on the Corn Juice

Check out the Syvecs S8 as well its plug and play and combined with a fuel flex unit auto switches into Meth or Ethanol maps, can be all controlled with a Toucan unit to access diff boost/traction maps. Google Syvecs S8 but im getting a virus hit off the sites at the moment.

So I arranged a meeting early this morning with a 458 S and a local's 12C, of course the NY Hamptons weather did not oblige and I was left by myself (well with my dog) in the rain on the corner of a quiet private estate road. I am interested to see in the real world with this higher power and better spooling if I can keep with one of the global guru cars of today. I can pull a 458S above 60 mph but have not been able to catch a Macca yet.
I also checked a brief datalog I did the other day in the wet.
Using the E85 with MAFLESS seems to have had the added benfit of shifting my torque curve more to the right. I am now getting 210% torque at 5200 rpms or so which keeps my crank torque at 600-630 lbs-ft at those rpms above 4400-5400. Before, under the 93 octane MAF set up my torque peak was at 4300 rpm or so and a good 100 less by the time I got to 5400 rpm

that 2.8sec 60-100 is a lot of torque! sound like you have a good max out k24 setup before building you engine and go bigger...
i bet you can kik that 458 *** but close race
if you can do more good logs and share it

When it is dry this week I will do a long 4th gear pull 60-130 to 7k rpms and see
#37
Which car was yours as there were a tonne in there on Thursday.

Just had a dog ate my home work result as I pulled a 6.5x on vbox and no effing verify... oh well, temps low at 55F this morning, 4th gear is a beast now and I can do quicker 60-130 mph just 4th rather than 3rd-4th
I did get a messy pull as 3rd slipped tires and shifted 4th early
100-125 mph in 4th 2.64s

One thing is for sure, Eurodyne with Tim tuning and some E85 gets results that are much better than I could have ever hoped for

Andrew if you get grip soon ,try 2nd gear to 4th directly with a 7100 rpm limit, i think no one has done this before...
I usually shift near 95 mph or about 6300-6500 rpms in 3rd which was optimal............ the pull above had the tires ripping and roaring in 3rd and I had left PSM on which was lighting up like a pinball machine... I will do a dedicated 3rd-4th and 4th only 50-150 mph this week and see what times we can verify. It was quite cold when I did that particular run and my tires are a bit of a problem.

The nice thing about both of those EMS is that you could get sensors and tune in a Traction Control strategy that'll keep the car going in the direction you want
