Best of luck bill, still don't see why you'd upgrade and go w/ a smaller tire. THat was my point. I think it's obvious they will fit, but I bet even the tire rack guys were a little puzzled as to why you were downsizing.

Enjoy the deal you got on wheels, and keep us updated when you get pics
Thank you

We might be near the end of this. In summary:
1) The set-up Dr. Bill is getting will look quite good cosmetically, but will be a performance compromise under certain conditions he might never see.
2) No harm will befall Dr. Bill or his car if driven under normal conditions.
3) There are better set-ups available to the one he's getting but at significantly higher cost.

Robert, they are the 19" Champion wheel in Black with 21/2 in lip front and 3 in lip rear conti exclaim UHP tires. retail is $6500. got them for $2900 and keeping my stock wheels to use for winter. This price incl.mounting/balancing, the porsche billet adaptors, lug nuts, porsche center crests, and shipping. i did not hear a concern on your part w/r to rev/mile of the setup..does that mean you somewhat approve?

Yes Bill, I approve! Sounds like that is an absolutely killer deal on my favorite wheels. Turbo cabs with the Lobster fork Champions are stunning. Everything will work out just fine. I hope you do see my point RE: the rollout issue. The 996 turbo is very sensitive to rollout changes. To tell you the truth, I didn't bother calculating the rollout on the 235/35/19 even though you had posted it. If I had, I would have come to the same conclusion anyways. The speedo will be off and the width of the rears will be off a little but the roll out is spot on.

Post pics!
