A few tips I read/learned: Get a good heat gun (harbor freight has a few options for cheap cheap), don't do it in cold weather, start with a big sheet, patience, clean and wax the surface really well, don't watch UTube and think this is easy, by the good film like 3M that is slightly porous allowing the air bubbles out, patience....

Mine is a 3footer and it gets lots of compliments plus it protects, it was a good DIY although not really a novice-one man job. Good luck and looking forward to more pics.

Did any of you use 3m primer or sealant? There is some spots and the sharp points that ifeel just won't hold over time. Especially spots that gets dirt and water.

I used primer on every piece and edge sealer on the edges.
