Feedback from Brembo GTR owners pls
Hey all,
Just wondering who here has the Brembo GTR brake kits? I believe Sharky and Xico has them and was wondering about the performance and if there are any squeals to them? I've talked to some people about it and from what i understand the brakes are fully floating. I'm very interested in getting them but again was just wondering if there's a "squeal" and if so how loud? Is it annoying? Just wanted to get your feedback pls.
TIA

depends where do u use them and how to use them. Brembo has 3 kits available for the car 2 GT combo & the GTR kit. i have experience on all of them i can tell u the GTR kit is really designed for track use. if u're worry about the squeal noise then this kit is not for u. it's like buying a GT3 complaining the ride is too rough.
as far as the floating comment, all Brembo GT/GTR kit rotors are floating design. their braking power are all superior than stock set up & lighter than stock on 2 of the kit (not the 8 piston GT kit). as i mentioned above, since the GTR kit is dsigned for track use the right tire combo is very important as well. the stopping power is so good that u need sticky tires like MPSC or Corsa to get the ''right'' balance. regular street tires like ContiSportContact or PS2 are not a good match for it since the tire can't catch the braking power. if u're looking for improvement over the stock set up (lighter weight, more stopping power, better look) & don't want to have any ''noise'' issue i highly recommend the Brembo 15''/14'' F50 4 piston GT kit. that's ur best bet for regular use for less cost as well.

Exactly... the GTR kit is intended for ultimate track use... It's the bomb but don't be putting them on a street car that never sees the track

What is Race Technology selling GTR parts only for now? How are you handling the emergency brake?
