Whoa... the vid from a standstill really puts the speed difference in perspective. Damn, it eats a stock 911 turbo alive once it gets traction.
I think I might have to pick up an m5... im impressed with this motor and tranny.
Now, if only we could get a video like that vs. an x50 or a GT2 or even a chipped turbo.

R&T tested the new Z06 and obtained numbers that were barely quicker than the obsolete C5 Z06. However, I think this test was a fluke. The guys on the Z06 board got all hot and bothered by the R&T test results, which was quite humorous.
With that said, the Z06 will still smoke an M6.

Nice vid. Thanks Gustav.
It's funny how you posted a vid of a TT losing and the mods left the thread here. But when I posted a vid of my TT beating a 500+ HP STi, they moved it to some obscure section.

I'll sweeten the deal $5K stock M5 is equal or faster than stock C6 Z from 90MPH to 165MPH. Therefore M6 has to be faster than both. Any takers ?

Well that second video proves it to me at least.
Looks like the 996 Turbos are really not much to talk about now. They have become obsolete.
We will have to wait it see what the 997 TT brings.
Though I don't expect much after the 997 let down.
