The M6 is far faster than a stock M3 and considerably faster than a stock TT. It's trap speed of 120 shows that.

Also, The dyno guy won't call me back. He's only open thursdays and fridays. I have raced a few cars(The entire supercharged mustang crew) and we have decided that the car is atleast 750rwhp.
It hasn't been beat yet. We are filming a run with a Hyabusa(stock) in the next week or so. On paper, he runs a full second slower from 60-130, but who knows in the real world. Also, he's a buddy of mine, so no hard feelings either way. We have to go from a roll, or he will slaughter me.

Face it, guys: the 996 Turbo is a 5 year old car, and A LOT HAS CHANGED IN THE PAST 5 YEARS. Remember when 350hp in a sedan was a big deal? I'd be seriously disappointed in BMW if the M6 wasn't faster, its competition is the 997 Turbo.
I'm very curious to see the video vs. the 996 with Ruf 550 conversion, it should help me decide whether to mod my Turbo or not.

I wonder if there is going to be potential horsepower left in the M6? I don't even want to know how much a set of headers would cost!!!

Eisenhaus is also making headers and has already developed their full exhaust.
Gpower gets 550 hp with a chip (I don't know how reliable that is, that is their stated number I have seen no dyno's) but that is what they claim.
Rdsport has a chip that gains 30 hp, definitely believable with a raised redline to 8500 rpm which is the fuel cutoff anyway.
Gpower also supposedly will have a 5.7 liter conversion which will net 650 hp, NA.
