If it's not using a MAP sensor and it's not using a MAF that seems odd. I know a bad O2 can make a huge difference, I've seen that before myself.

Just received the 997 Y-pipe I bought off of eBay, not a bad looking piece although at this point I'm not likely to use it and may flip it. The legs do neck down a little bit for sure!

MAF and E20 car did a best verified 7.219 s 60-130 mph
MAFLESS and E20 it goes under 7.0 s every time and the turbos spool way quicker on my 93 oct tune

The car idles at 1000 for 5 secs then goes to 780-800rpm as pr normal within 30 secs

it drives and operates even in these sub freezing temps really well after a 2 minute warm up.

What intercoolers are those? No socks on the filters? Do they not get beaten up by suspension movement?

have you looked at the fiters recently to see if any holes have been poked into them from the suspension movement?

I'd like that Y-pipe and some more details on it please but I don't think I'd want to run the additional piping to the engine bay unless it can be done in a straight shot and insulated from engine heat. Looks daaaamn good though! Nothing drawing a vac on that AOS? I've got one setup like that on another car and think I want to draw vac to remove fumes.

Wolfhedge I think you've sealed my decision on ETS intercoolers :-)

The setup in the yellow car is a 997 Setup - airconditioning lines have been changed to allow 997 AMS intercoolers, ypipe, silicon intake off turbos to fabspeed airfilters.

Looks very nice.

Yep - 997 stuff - the crankcase vent/tank only vents from the filter when idling - the line from the left comes from the oil tank into the catch tank and the line coming from the right side of the tank goes to the exhaust so when the car is running above idle it creates a vacuum so all vapors are burned and evacuated - as far as engine heat being an issue for ingestion it isn't - testing on the dyno showed the when the car is moving air flow from the wing openings (Techart) and the top of the deck lid pressure the air filter area and the motor sucks in ambient air The nice thing is that I can drive the car in the rain and not worry about sucking it in - 3071's with a blow through and other stuff done - 1023hp all wheels - picture of the needed fuel system... LOL

And yes, there is a cover that protects all of that stuff and you still can access all of the junk down below if you need.............
