996tt wheel chirping

my 03 996tt rear left tire started to produce a chirping/ticking sound once per each revolution,, it starts from 30mph or something,, the sounds goes out when brakes applies but it comes back as i reach stopping,,

checked wheel bearing,, checked clearance,, checked tire,, all alright,,

i wish someone can help,,

Have you checked brake pad hardware, clean and check everything out.

Are you sure the chirping is from the left (or right) rear tire? The only time my Turbo chirped the noise proved to be from a bad idler roller bearing.

If you are sure it is from the tire/wheel and that it goes away with braking then there is a brake problem. A pad may have a crack or be missing a chunk of material, a brake pad may be loose out of the retainer or the retainer may have failed.

You will have to get the car in the air and remove both rear wheels and check both brakes. I say both because you will have a good one to use as a baseline as to what a quiet brake should look like.
