In all fairness, this is a thread where Wealth Manager asked what color he should paint the wheels on his arctic silver 911.

Who bought the wheels off ebay has nothing to do with this. Typically this would be called thread high-jacking.

If you want to start a separate thread of your own, feel free. I doubt asking who bought the wheels off ebay is worthy of thread.

i'll say one thing about the oh maybe 8 bmw's I've owned, i've never once needed a tool to work on them. their factory bumper to bumper warranty that includes all service for the initial period of ownership is quite nice, actually

Everyone can relax. As stated I thouht this was the best wheels on a 996tt thread. I posted the wrong thing. This guy then thinks I have an ultimatum because of a prior post and calls me insecure. Lol. Really? I'm not here to make enemies. You all can relax. Move on.

I don't know why people ask these kind of questions. Everybody has their own opinion and who cares what they think anyway? It's your car so just get whatever you like better.

Personally I think phone dials only belong on earlier 911's, look barely passable on a 993, and horrible on a 996 and any generation Porsche after that. So I'd just sell those wheels and start over with something that actually looks good. They weren't designed to be an 18"+ wheel and only look good if they're maybe a maximum of 16", but even that's stretching it. But like I said everybody has an opinion and they're just like butt holes, they all stink!
