Almost...

The non-X50 has 309 kW = 414 hp SAE = 420 hp DIN.
The X50 option has 331 kW = 444 hp SAE = 450 hp DIN.

So the X50 has 30 hp more than the non-X50.

How come the high HP cars at the shoot out... the gt 800s didnt do low 10s.... according to everyones theory- it should have- correct.
The X50 isn't 0.5 seconds faster, it's 0.1-0.2 seconds faster.

As for the higher stages, no...higher power does not have a linear impact on quarter mile times.

I ran it on 18s, 19s, even switched to MPSC tires.... changed the psi in tires... I launched numerous times at different rpms... noticed that launching below 3k rpms was best... sometimes it hooked... but mostley it wheel hopped. 1.74 sec. 60ft with a trap of 122.7 mph got me a 11.7 sec.
maybe we should get Motor trend to show up to the next shoot out.... who knows... with their driving skills they should be doing 9s... especially on a 800 HP TT.
But guess what, wouldnt it be easier to achieve stated times in an AWD car to the inexperienced driver rather than a Z06 or RWD monster like that? Of course AWD not driven properly can have wheel hop and such but you know what i mean

.
since some magazines stated 11.9 to 11.7 sec.... on an x50.... what did the stock TT do? i know and some guys here on this board(mr. blonde) ran 12.2s @ 115... all day long. my friend averaged 12.2s to 12.4s on a stock tt. tahts how I came up with the 1/2 second.
in the real world its very hard to achieve any stated magazine times.... very hard.... especially on a 6 speed.
PSM even OFF... keeps fighting you....

Agreed, but to compare numbers magazines and actual professionals who tested it are the only thing to base it off of because think about it, real world times and drivers some are going to be bad and better than each other, where's your standpoint

Z06 story of the day...I was in pretty heavy traffic on a four lane highway (two lanes in both directions) when I see a silver C6 Vette ahead (yawn). We finally end up next to each other...I'm not paying any attention to him at all. As we drive along I keep seeing out of the corner of my eye that the Vette is making 5-6 car length accelerations to a tailgate position on the car in front of him. He then slows down to get the same 5-6 car lengths, and jumps on it again to the tailgate position on the car in front of him. I'm wondering "what the hell is he thinking, there is *no where* to go, it's bumper to bumper in both lanes". He keeps it up so I finally look over and take a closer look at him and happen to see the "Z06" emblem on the side of the car (it's a C6Z). Wish we would have had a little more room...

The best times I remember seeing in magazine tests are 11.7-11.8 for the X50, and 11.9 for the non-X50...0.1-0.2 seconds apart.

It is a good thing you didn't have anymore room, you would have been in trouble..

Dock, we are 415hp here in the states for the K-16 (I thought). I could have sworn that the X-50 put them at 450hp and the "turbo S" put them at 444hp. However, I might be wrong...it wouldn't be the first time.

I doubt that he would truly care about the outcome, honestly.
