It is incredible that Ruf makes a car that is so driveable, yet so ultra-fast. Anyone can go shopping in this car.
Don't ask a lady's age, but she's over 80
If you have any questions about the R&T article you can ask me, I was there when they tested the car.

BUT - I don't see a problem with that she could.
The RT12 is not hard to drive. If you can drive a stock 911 you can drive the 911. The main difference is the speed of which the speedo moves.

In most case nothing is under or over rated! It usually is, we, John Q. Gullible, allow whoever, to legally manipulate our impressions.
The car has six hundred hp! This really doesn't mean a thing without all the facts. The questions that must be asked and provided is:
1) Manufacture of dyno.
2) Type of dyno (awd or rwd)
3) Standard being used for the recording of the values.
They have the possibility of varying as much as almost 40% and yet having the same values when compared with the three above standards being the same.
Some people use the values to under rate and others use the valves to over rate. When John Q. Gullible attempts to compare dissimular data he is left in "left field" so to speak.
I guess the best way to expalin it would be to say your house is worth $5,000,000.00 dollars. You simply didn't say if it was Canadian or US dollars.

Based on my experience with RUF cars that RT12 is making 700 hp on the US Dyno's.
Still you could buy a brand new Carrera S and have EVO do a full twin turbo kit, interior and exterior, suspension, wheels, etc... for probably $200,000.00 total versus the $287,000.00 for the RUF.
I am not saying bad things about RUF just saying they are expensive and there are other options.

Hell, the Yellow Bird did 11.7 at 133.5 in 1987, thats only .4MPH in 18 years! These tuners need to get their act in gear. All the new computer stuff should have had us at 150+mph by now -- I'm disappointed. I think I'll buy a Supra.

I think only 28 were made and I don't know how many that have survived. And they're not all yellow either
I think they are still around 100.000 - 120.000 USD nowadays.

yeah but dont forget security issues...
but what is really impressive is that those yellowbirds are still driving very well and they are nearly 20years old (1987) and some have more then 100k miles on the clock. this is really impressive. the quality must be outstanding. i dont know one single car of this age from another tuner, which is still driving...
