Ebay is also a great place for rip off artists to list severely messed up cars. It's unfortunate and most of us rely on the honesty of our fellow man but with ebay.... you can't do that. I almost bought an SL600 with 2000 miles on ebay. Did the deal got the money ready for wire transfer and got a call telling me that the car was sold locally. All within 24 hours.

No ne made him do anything. I think a lot of people here are just tired of the fakes that run around. I know it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but no reason to stroke someone's ego! At least this guy was a sport about it and understands that there are a lot of losers out there willing to waste our time.

On that note... it's over! Lol.
That's exactly right. Nobody made him do a damn thing. His post was suspect. Several people agreed and that was it. People didn't just jump on a noob because he was new. There was some doubt and what he posted was rather unusual. In reference to my specific posts, you will see that I started off by saying.... that if he was the real deal that I offered my sincerest apologies and went on further to explain why he was suspect and the board's history with poseurs. I don't think it was a mean spirited interrogation, it was all in good fun. TotalledA993TT was indeed a good sport about it and acknowledged that the poseur problem has been an issue on the boards that he has frequented in the past. It's over and now everyone is offering their help as requested.

Yea there are alot of BS artists on ebay, and that's why i think the majority of shoppers are so weary and cautious of highly modified cars or expensive ones, i couldnt sell mine for shlt on there and its showroom condition with brand new parts..

Oh wow, what a thread!

Anyway, it's really cool that your dad loves a riced-out Nissan. There is something adorable about that!

Good luck!
