F430 vs stage 1 996TT?
#5
I would think that it would be pretty close. The turbo would have a torque advantage, but the F430 Coupe would have the weight advantage. Power would be rather close between the two given the increase of ~6psi on the turbo. I am not sure what the final drive gear ratio is for the F430, though (I've seen 4.30, 3.55, etc). We know the 911 turbo 6sp sits at 3.44.

i dont care which one is faster. clearly the TT is, but id so much rather have the 430..beating other cars doesnt give me my enjoyment. the fun factor involves me and an open road. no need for the street racing

Quite a difference in tq should give the TT the clear advantage IMO. Regardless, the 430 is the winner in overall car experience
