Stephen/Imagine Builds a Great Engine

Stephen/Imagine Builds a Great Engine
Prior to having Stephen/Imagine rebuild my engine, I had been losing a certain amount of oil ever since I acquired the car. I kept my garage stocked with oil and periodically dumped in a quart or more.
I have put a few thousand miles on my car since the engine rebuild, and I have not lost a drop of oil. I checked it last night and I am full. Stephen/Imagine builds a tighter engine than the factory.
Thanks Stephen!
Craig
Ps: Anyone want to buy my extra supply of oil. It doesn’t look like I will need it anytime soon.

I'm sure Stephen builds a great motor.
One hugh factor determining oil consumption is how the motor is initially broken in.

A little off topic, but thats exactly how we break in new piston engines (internal combustion engine) in aviation. RUN IT HARD

Interesting link, should be very thought provoking...
In grass roots racing (no budget) the only way to break in your engines was to run it hard, right off the trailer. If you didnt your qualifying times sucked, then you start from the back. Then you will break it in trying to catch up...Anyways, during assembly , I used barely enough oil on my rings (conventional, not synth.) to aid in assembly AND quick run in, to seal the rings.
