FX Aero kits for 996, Any suggestions or reviews?

it looks great now, but cost to make it right over doubled the quote for paint and install. To anyone looking they wouldn't be able to tell now, but I still notice every time I wash the car or get up close
I wasn't overly surprised as this was a fiberglass replica piece, but all the forum reviews gave me high hopes that this would've just been a paint and install job
- 3rd brake light bracket was not correct, body shop had to rig something up and cutout extra room
- bottom edges, where the decklid meets the rear bumper was extrememly "wavy" and requires sanding and filler to get it close to seamless with the body lines
- Mounting points required some finaggling
- Overall finish was not what Tony described via E-Mail with myself and the owner of the body shop, resulted in much more prep-work

What is the best looking rear bumper on 996 ?
Would love to see what do you think guys . As far as front bumper , we do have tech art used bumpers in Kuwait .
That will cut the shipping cost , if you are interested , I can provide you with phone numbers .

its too bad that given the time difference etc, you cannot call them directly. tony or edwin, are always there and i believe most everyone agrees, that precisions parts are the closest to original at least in fitment terms ( e.g. techart copy or strosek wings? ) as any other aftermarket supplier. i'm fortunate in that they are a few miles away, and am leaning heavily toward that TA 997 style myself.
good luck, in whichever way you decide to go.

Thanks for your feedback above and this. I didnot know that they had it mentioned earlier. I will check their classified, there might be any comments that might help me too.

Regard rear bumper, I am a big fan of the OEM look.

I am interested to know if any member has got one. For me, I found a used OEM front bumber from a fellow Porsche Club member that sorted my need.

They said no ducting and it would cool better without. Not sure if that's true but I don't race mine or anything done don't really care.
