FX Aero kits for 996, Any suggestions or reviews?
I have a to replace my front bumber soon. However options are too tempting. OEM, GT2, GTR, and the new GTR with LED by FX Aero

I live in Saudi Arabia, shipping is expensive to here, so I am willing to risk it for a propper fit. I can't afford unfit issues or bad quality.
Have anyone seen an FX Aero works or used it? Your advise please.

i know what the "purists" say, but i am really leaning toward biting this one off, and precision's parts fit as well as ANY ( well,..REAL!? techart??) out of the box.
i'm gonna do it, but at this point it could well be a bucketlist item ..for the car! lol

What Krazy said. These bumpers wold almost certainly require some work to fit and I'd be surprised if they came with proper ducts. The RUF bumper isn't fiberglass, has a proper hole for the tow hook, has the right ducts, and it FITS!
I want that Precision bumper too but shipping and whatnot is a bit different for us in the States vs what it would be for him.

Thanks guys. I was afraid of RUF bumper as I heared other members talk about radiator issue with it. Was that the origional or replica. FX guys sound pretty confidient about their products fitment right off the box, as they claim. I dropped them an email and I will see their reply.
Percision, I tried to email them but they did not reply yet. That was 3 weeks ago!

I ordered my GT2 decklid from precision a few months back, I was really surprised at how much extra work it took the body shop to make it right. Not really like anything I read about them. I'm a reluctant to order from them again, if I do upgrade the bumper it would be OEM GT2 or RUF. I may just do the Joe Toth splitter and call it a day.
When I ordered from Precision Tony mentioned he was having E-Mail issues since Porsche N/A took issue with his site and domain. You can reach him direct at tu993@sbcglobal.net

- 3rd brake light bracket was not correct, body shop had to rig something up and cutout extra room
- bottom edges, where the decklid meets the rear bumper was extrememly "wavy" and requires sanding and filler to get it close to seamless with the body lines
- Mounting points required some finaggling
- Overall finish was not what Tony described via E-Mail with myself and the owner of the body shop, resulted in much more prep-work
I wasn't overly surprised as this was a fiberglass replica piece, but all the forum reviews gave me high hopes that this would've just been a paint and install job

I've never seen an aftermarket bumper that was a perfect fitment out of the box. That said, my Precision GT2 front bumper was pretty good. Depends on how **** you are, but you could simply install it and go if you weren't a perfectionist.
