OEM or Aftermarket
While I was performing a pressure test today on my 03’ X50. I found my passenger side actuator is leaking air between the rod.
Should I replace with the OEM part or aftermarket parts?
Thanks in advance

My car is not tuned but do have Forge DV, hose plus GT2 fabspeed exhaust with 100 cell cats installed by the previous owners. I found they are many aftermarket waste gates available. But not sure who has the best fit for my setup? Any suggestion it’s appreciated.

most aftermarket w/g are set at 1 bar. if your not tuned its not advisable. call the local shops for a set of used oem or pelican parts for replacements until you make the move and need more boost thru the w/g

as noted above, if you're not already tuned or anticipating an upgrade then the options below give you a good idea of what will hold higher boost levels.
if you're ( now ) stock and plan to stay that way? you stay with oem.

I replaced both of the rods on my 1 bar WGS for about $35 worth of tools and materials from mc master. Took about 3 hours including setting the cracking pressures on the actuators
