Header recommendation needed
Gentlemen,
The headers on my 2001 996TT with K24 turbos (I now run a Evo GT 660 tune) have been re-welded numerous ttimes but have finally given up. Can you experts pls provide advice on what to get to replace them, and where? I am currently prepping the car for Daytona and need to replace the headers without much delay.
Rgds,

The best headers for stock turbo-framed cars are from a little known German company called Boysen. They make an indestructible, well designed doubled walled stainless header that other companies can't hold a candle to.

I imagine it has to do with issues cropping up from the header's location.

Because so many of the aftermarket headers are made with Chinese steal. One board sponsor said his stuff was made in the USA until someone outed him. Nothing was made in the USA except for the made in the USA sticker! It was pretty interesting read. Search the Ferrari section.
Like others have said the stock headers ported. I also Jet-Hot coated mine for some additional efficiency.

Looking for stock headers
Having seen all the responses, and heard from Marski, I have determined that the path of least resistance, especially considering time factors, is to find a set of stock headers. Does anyone on the list have a set he or she wants to sell?

Boysen isn't well known in the aftermarket, but they do make a lot of the OE European brands' car exhausts
