getting car aligned - tomorrow

Car goes for an alignment tomorrow, no track days. Been using same alignment shop for years, they do amazing job. Car sits on h&r lowering springs, should i go with stock spec? oem wheels and tires

after putting good amount of miles, so the springs settle down a bit (looks like front tires inside show no wear but rear ones (inside) do get some tire wear.

Now, car sits on winter tires, front ones are 245/40/18 and rear ones are more skinnier 275/35/18

no. x73 and/or the computers gt2 specs. adjust to your liking. probably less toe in. to adjust for hard accel "squat", coupled with lowering spring sag. should also be using ( or give serious thought to ) adjustable toe links.

i've managed up to .25 "toe in" each side ( rear ) up to .027. and it helps to lessen/eliminate that inner premature inner cord tread wear. i couldn't have accomplished that, absent aftermarket toe links. max prior was *maybe* .023 ( IIRC??! ). whatever it was? wasn't enough - toe in. now perfect.

I'm in the same shoes also. Had H&R springs and alignment done this summer. Killed the inside of my rear PS2s.

^ yep, thats the inability of the stock links to get you enough - toe in to help eliminate that.

I always ask how someone wants their car to drive...alignments make massive changes to how a car responds and gives 'outputs'...
Main desires/concerns? Willing to have tramlining? Aggressive throttle/brake/cornering, or more normal cruising?
Cheers,

Cheers,
good points. i needed my alignment to counter mostly off camber cornering that was prematurely eating at the inside edges moreso than any primarily street "driven" tire i have used ( though ursoboosted's example almost looks like a "normal" ps2 to me ) as I've always found that what we "gain" in initial grip, we always give back in lack of "longevity", i find w ps2's

but now the car rarely sees the city at all, so my alignment setting has been optimized and reflects the majority of hard uphill turning ( well, i go back down the hill too lol )

but good points as always ...

Car aligned, it drives and handles even better!, alignment was super off. I dont think the previous owner even did alignment since the car was new.

now I need to find good rear tires for summer but that can wait, right now the car sits on winter package with blizak's mounted. And i fully agree about PS2's.
