Cost of 1,000 RWHP Build on a 996TT?

Understood thanks again. Part of my goals depends on the timing of development of the 997.2 I've been stuck at 650 wheel for a couple years due to the fuel system limit and while it's been waiting for an upgrade, my car has morphed more into a track car and maybe will stay that way. Some of the best shops have been trying to upgrade the fuel system with no luck for years. But who knows....if someone can successfully upgrade it...800 wheel on a PDK would be insane and I would just let the 996 go.
Where is the bottleneck on the .2 engines? Something DFI related like injectors or HPFP?
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone add port injection for additional fuel like the UGR cars do. I think that they add some kind of stand alone ecu to piggyback the stock DME to control those injectors, but someone more knowledgeable on those builds might be able to correct me.

This was one of the main reasons I ended up with a 997.1, as I really liked the PDK's 997.2, but knew there was a power limit. One side of me wanted a 6speed/Mezger, the other wanted the newer hands down better performance PDK per HP, but the limiting power for the PDK and fuel/engine(at the time everyone was saying engine / rods is weaker then the Mezger) is what solidified my 997.1 purchase. That and the fact that a basic re/wheeled VTG Protomotive package I can be 6.0 (running that on stock crap 997.1 coolers) or less on E85 with upgraded coolers!
What blows my mind is that this is NOT the first platform (997.2) to have these stumbling blocks (PDK,FUEL,ENGINE), but 5 years going on to 6 and no PROGRESS!! The BMW's had the same issues with fuel and their is solved, GTR had tranny issues and theirs are solved... what is the issue with the 911!!
I really want them to at least solve the tranny and fuel issues, as I believe that the motor can handle about 800RWHP and about 750TQ without being opened! Like you eluded to before would be a killer set up on the streets with that PDK,flat and huge TQ curve and it weighing less then a GTR!!
To be honest I would also be a little upset if they find out how to deal with these issues, as I am "into" my car too deep with the stuff I have done and I just did full paint and body kit to make a switch!! After reading the difficulty of the sealed PDK tranny and no one still didn't do a simple fuel fix, I just figured one of my dreams was to have a 997.1T 6spd so good excuses to pull the trigger and MOD IT!
When I was looking for a 997.1, I came across some very nice AUTO's and I looked into a built tyrannies with upgraded Torque converters. I found out it is about $5000-6000 WITH a upgraded TQ converter and thought that is not to far off a good triple clutch!! The only reason for the reasonable price is that it is domestic shops (shops listed in previous post) that have built the same tranny that are in some of their cars (and MB/Chrysler)!!
So the tranny and axels in the 997.1 is different then the 996's?
Thanks

Wow mid-to high 700's? Pretty incredible actually on a stock motor. Mezger ftw.
