Part Number???
I can't seem to narrow down the part number for this plastic expansion rivet in the PET catalog. Anyone know what it is? It secures part of the front wheel housing liner and goes in the hole right by the turn signal as pictured. I know is is NOT the same as 999.507.497.40. JP?
I'm not sure why the pictures oriented sideways. Turn your head to the left.

Thanks JP, but, like I said, that is NOT the same one. I have those and they are a little bigger and the pin shaft is perfectly round. The one I'm looking for is shaped to the point is can only go into the base one particular way.
You are looking at the same diagram I am and it doesn't even show this one as far as I can tell. Try again!

Immediately after looking at your picture ( without reading the text lol!!!!) I went to look in my stock to found the rivets I got because I remember ordering those. Sorry about that, I was in a rush to help you ASLAN LOL!!! ....But this morning I went to look at my car at the exact position of your picture and it is those 999-507-497-40 rivets that I got in place on both sides ???? Strange....*

Did a search with the part number 999-507-497-40 and it is used in two locations on our car, front fender and underside panel near the engine and it is also used on many other Porsches even todays Panamera!!! My guess is they modified the old model to get a stronger type and with the bigger head it is a lot easier to remove without damaging it...Only my humble opinion ;-)
